52 Things I love about you

Things you need- Playing cards, binder rings ( the small ones work best), Glitter glue, little scraps of things you want to put on the cards, Packing tape to wrap the card in and a scissor.


step 1 choose to punch one or two holes into your card in the place of your choice



Step 2: place binder rings threw the holes

Step 3: decorate the title card with "52 things I love about you"

 

Step 4: decorate the cards with glitter and scraps. ( this is a movie ticket stub, and a piece of an oreo wrapper)
 
Step 5: once your things are plcaed on your card use packing tape to secure it to the card.
Place tape half ways on card and leave extra on both sides to wrap around entire card. Then repete with the other half.
Step 6: Trim off exta packing tape and re punch the holes.
Add card to the deck and continue on!

Japanese style lanterns






Materials - glue, printer paper or construction paper, scissors, crayons , markers, water color paints
battery operated tea light

Step 1: choose your paper
Step 2: fold one of the short ends 1/4th of an inch

Step 3: fold the opposite end to the fold line of the tab.



Like this!
Step 4: then fold in half again to the fold of the tab.

You should have something that looks like this


Step 5: fold the end with out the tab to the center so all sides make a cube.
(this is the stage you would use crayons, markers or paints to decorate your lantern)

Step 6: add a small amount of glue to the 1/4th inch tab.

It should look like this once its glued.

Then use the scissor to cut out shapes!

Wa-la! Add a battery tea light and your done!
